The Bob Beaty Foundation Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship that will be awarded to graduating student-athletes from any Colorado high school.
Criteria
The recipient:
- reflects the true spirit of athletics by demonstrating loyalty, integrity, determination and leadership skills which invoke a sense of fairness and justice;
- values the importance of a team and each of its members;
- contributes to the well being of his/her school and community;
- letters his/her senior year;
- has a minimum of 3.5 grade point average;
- has been accepted to a post-secondary educational institution and is not a recipient of a full academic or athletic scholarship.
Application Procedure
Submit the following:
- an essay in which you explain how you meet this scholarship’s criteria; please include which high school you attend and what sports you have lettered in;
- two letters of recommendation: one from a teacher and one from a coach;
- a current transcript.
